How to Use a Modulite Inhaler in Adults
Remove the modulite inhaler cap.
There is no need to shake the device. It is sufficient to hold the medicine in an upright position for 30 seconds, with the base of the drug on top and the mouthpiece down.
Keep the device in an upright position. Hold the inhaler with your thumb and forefinger at the base of the mouthpiece with your index finger at the base of the medicine. If you wish, you can also hold the device with the thumbs and index fingers of both hands. Do not hold the device upside down.
Sit upright or stand up. Keep your head upright, tilt your head back slightly and keep the hopper in a horizontal position.
Exhale slowly and empty your lungs away from the inhaler.
Place the mouth of the inhaler between your teeth and grasp the device firmly with your lips. While breathing DEEP and SLOW through your mouth, press the tube at the same time.
Hold your breath for 10 seconds. Take the inhaler away from your mouth and turn it off. After 10 seconds, you can exhale through your nose.
If a second dose is to be administered, repeat 30 seconds later, starting from Item 2.
Close the cap of the inhaler.
After the application, gargle your mouth and throat with plenty of water to prevent thrush and coughing in the mouth. Do not swallow the water, take it to the sink. You can brush your teeth instead of mouthwash with water.
